Angelo FernandoAngelo Fernando is a magazine columnist, speaker, and workshop leader who has been writing about technology, media and business for the past 18 years.

For the past 25 years he has had a front-row seat in advertising, marketing, and corporate communication in Asia and the U.S., witnessing and analyzing the big shifts in communication.

He left the brand-centric world (at Ogilvy & Mather and JWT), for the bottom-up people-centric world of digital communications. He trained in broadcasting (at the BBC, London), turned to podcasting, has co-hosted a live radio-show, conducted numerous workshops and webinars, and has been blogging since 2004. More details, here. Angelo is now a teacher at Salt River Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he runs a computer and technology lab with a science and engineering focus. He is also the school’s robotics coach.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Literature, from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and a master’s degree in Communication from the University of Leicester, England.
